This 3-day, 2-night extension will take you from Puerto Ayora on a full-day diving trip to one of the most spectacular sites in the Galápagos Islands. Get up close to the amazing life, swim amongst sea turtles, sea lions and an endless array of colorful fish!

Day 1 • Welcome to Puerto Ayora!

Puerto Ayora

You will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Puerto Ayora. The guide will be available to assist you with any questions regarding your day trip scheduled for the following day. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax—whether that’s enjoying the beach or strolling to the nearby fishermen’s market.

Notes:

  • Flights are not included.
  • For logistical reasons, the Galápagos National Park entrance fee (USD 200 per person, USD 100 for children under 12) and the Transit Control Card (USD 20 per person) are not included.
  • Accommodation at the selected hotel is guaranteed for most travel dates; in rare cases, it may be substituted with a hotel of the same category.

Embark on an unforgettable underwater adventure with our Galápagos Diving Day Tours, designed for divers of all levels who want to explore the unique marine ecosystems of the Galápagos Islands. These full-day experiences take you to some of the archipelago’s top dive sites, each offering stunning biodiversity, dramatic volcanic landscapes, and close encounters with iconic wildlife.

Each dive offers a unique and awe-inspiring view into one of the most protected and pristine marine environments on the planet.

Destination:

  • Floreana (Mondays) – Basic to Intermediate | Explore three reef dive sites with rocky outcrops, caves, and sandy bottoms teeming with sea lions, reef sharks, eagle rays, and the unique red-lipped batfish. Currents range gentle to moderate, ideal for all skill levels; equipment, snacks, and lunch included.

  • Santa Fe (Tuesdays) – Basic to Intermediate | Dive calm, clear bays perfect for beginners and intermediates, encountering sea lions, stingrays, reef sharks, and marine invertebrates like Galapagos eels. Three sites offer varied landscapes, including fascinating cave dives at 16 meters; gear, snacks, and lunch included.

  • Seymour Canal & Mosquera Sur (Wednesdays) – Basic to Intermediate | Dive biodiverse rocky reefs and sandy slopes known for white-tip sharks, eagle rays, sea turtles, and playful sea lions. Mild currents make these sites perfect for exploring coral-covered rocks and spotting hammerhead sharks; equipment and lunch included.

  • Gordon Rocks (Thursdays & Sundays) – Advanced | Dive an ancient volcanic crater with strong currents attracting hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and Galápagos sea lions. This challenging site features rocky slopes and deep walls, suitable only for experienced divers; gear and lunch included.

  • Mosquera & Daphne (Fridays) – Intermediate | Explore sandy bottoms and coral walls teeming with turtles, rays, sharks, and sea lions near Mosquera Islet and volcanic Daphne, known for underwater caves and abundant marine life. Wetsuit, equipment, snacks, and lunch provided.

  • Seymour Punta & Mosquera Norte (Saturdays) – Basic to Intermediate | Experience dramatic volcanic formations and sandy bottoms hosting reef sharks, eagle rays, sea lions, and schools of jacks. These moderately calm sites provide diverse marine life with potential sightings of hammerhead sharks; full gear and lunch included.

Notes:

  • All tours are group tours and not private excursions
  • Destination is subject to availability and according to the Galápagos National Park Regulations
  • Advanced Diving Level: minimum of 25 logged dives and no mote than 1 year since the last dive
  • Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a private guide for an additional price. They are NOT allowed to go to Gordon Rocks.

Daily diving tour includes: Full Equipment (5mm or 7mm wetsuit, BCD, boots, fins, regulator, tanks, mask, hood), 2 dives, towels on board, lunxh box, snacks, wateron board, English-speaking PADI Instructors & Adventure Guide .

Not included: Dive computer, dive insurance, Nitrox tanks

Today is your departure day. You will be transferred either to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador or to the meeting point to begin your cruise. We hope this next step is as exciting as the journey you’ve experienced so far, and we’re grateful to have been part of your Galápagos adventure.
