Indeed, we do! When we receive your booking deposit, we send all our clients a comprehensive suggested packing list and lots of other useful information about your time in Galápagos. Here's a brief summary of our recommended packing list to get the most from your time in the Galápagos.
In Galápagos, the rule is to keep things informal. No matter how luxurious your cruise, the range of clothing you should bring is from "informal" to "very informal"! Remember, there is a weight limit of 44lb (20kg) per person for luggage when flying to Galápagos. If you are staying in Quito before and after your Galápagos trip, then you may wish to arrange to leave some luggage with them while you cruise in Galápagos.
Please ensure your passports are valid for at least six months beyond your arrival in Ecuador, carry valid travel insurance, and consult your doctor or a travel clinic about any recommended vaccinations. When using ATMs, take normal travel precautions, choose trusted locations, and contact your bank immediately if anything seems unusual. The emergency number in Ecuador and the Galapagos is 911. You will need your passport to board the ship; however, for day excursions from your hotel we recommend leaving the passport locked in your room and carrying a photocopy instead. While not always strictly compliant with local identification rules, it is generally preferable to explain to the police that your passport was secured at the hotel than to report it stolen.
