This Mid-range 3-day extension of our cruise will take you from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno on a full-day diving trip to one of the best diving spots in the Galápagos Islands and certainly around the world : Kicker Rock! Get up close to the amazing life, swim amongst sea turtles, sea lions and an endless array of colorful fish!
Day 1 • Welcome to Puerto Baquerizo!

You will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. The guide will be available to assist you with any questions regarding your day trip scheduled for the following day. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax—whether that’s enjoying the Mann beach or visiting the Frigate Bird Hill.

- For logistical reasons, the Galápagos National Park entrance fee (USD 200 per person, USD 100 for children under 12) and the Transit Control Card (USD 20 per person) are not included.

Day 2 • A spectacular site above water and only gets better as you dive in
Kicker Rock
Embark on an unforgettable underwater adventure with our Galápagos Diving Day Tours, designed for divers of all levels who want to explore the unique marine ecosystems of the Galápagos Islands. These full-day experiences take you to some of the archipelago’s top dive sites, each offering stunning biodiversity, dramatic volcanic landscapes, and close encounters with iconic wildlife.
Each dive offers a unique and awe-inspiring view into one of the most protected and pristine marine environments on the planet.
Destination:
Kicker Rock (daily except Thursdays and Sundays) – Basic to Intermediate | Imagine you’re on a small dive boat, heading toward Kicker Rock, a dramatic volcanic formation rising sharply from the ocean. As you approach, the silhouette of the twin towering rocks captures your attention, hinting at the vibrant underwater world below. When you enter the water, you’re surrounded by an amazing variety of marine life — graceful sea turtles glide past, schools of colorful fish scatter, and hammerhead sharks patrol the depths. Swimming through the narrow channel between the rocks, you experience the powerful currents and unique underwater landscape shaped by volcanic rock. Above water, seabirds circle the rock, adding to the sense of being immersed in a wild and untamed environment. Between dives, you have time to snorkel in calm bays, walk along pristine beaches, and enjoy fresh meals on board.
Roca Ballena (daily) – Basic to Intermediate | You’ll board a small dive boat designed for 12 guests, guided by a skilled captain and two English-speaking dive instructors. After gearing up with full diving equipment, your first dive takes you to Roca Ballena, where the waters teem with sea lions, rays, sharks, turtles, and vibrant reef life. You’ll follow your guide through underwater valleys and rocky walls, discovering a lively marine world around you. After surfacing, you’ll relax on the boat with snacks and drinks before heading to the second dive site: the century-old Carawa shipwreck. Swimming around the wreck, you’ll witness how nature has reclaimed it as a thriving reef, home to a fascinating mix of creatures. Between dives, you’ll soak in the peaceful surroundings and the beauty of the Galápagos seascape. This dive day offers an intimate, immersive encounter with one of Earth’s most remarkable ecosystems

Day 3 • Enjoy a bite of paradise
Puerto Baquerizo Moreno
Today marks the end of your Galápagos adventure. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to San Cristóbal Airport, just a short 5-minute drive from town, for your flight back to mainland Ecuador. Alternatively, if continuing your journey by cruise, you will be taken to the meeting point to begin your next leg of exploration. We hope the memories you’ve made here stay with you long after you leave.
