When to go to Galapagos?

December–May is the warm season with calmer seas and warmer water (great for snorkeling); June–November is the cool garúa season with nutrient-rich waters and especially active marine life. Peak demand weeks are Easter, July–August, and Christmas/New Year, so plan 9–12 months ahead for those dates.
