Food & Drinks on board the Natural Paradise

The food on our Galapágos Cruises is among the very best you will find in South America. Most of the on-board chefs are internationally trained and have prior experience working in the best hotels and restaurants in Ecuador and indeed around the world.

You can expect a first-class selection of food, including a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, locally sourced poultry and fish/seafood, rice and pasta dishes. Most boats will always include some typical Ecuadorian dishes on the menu during your cruise. If you have specific dietary requirements then these can usually be accommodated by the chef providing you have given advance notice. Please make sure you tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements you have at the time you book with us. If you leave it until you arrive at the dockside, then it may well be impossible to accommodate your needs.

Most boats serve a range of options at meal times in a relaxed buffet-style. At the first class and luxury end of the market, some boats have more formal dining where you will be served at your seat. However the atmosphere is always relaxed on board our cruises, and never stuffy or formal.

Sustainable Tourism

At Galapatours we love and respect the pristine ecosystems and fascinating wildlife of the Galápagos Islands. To protect the archipelago, all vessels in Galápagos must have sophisticated water filtration systems, modern, efficient engines, and strict maintenance schedules to minimize pollution. Furthermore, The Galápagos National Park authority defines exact cruising routes that dictate which ships can visit which highlights at what day and time, as well as limiting passenger numbers.

Our commitment extends beyond the mandatory environmental standards for cruise vessels in the region: A portion of your trip price now contributes to our Conservation Project. This initiative empowers local communities to protect their territory, engage in reforestation, and prepare for long-term environmental stewardship. This way, your trip contributes to environmental protection and truly shows how travel can be a force for good! You can also play your part by traveling responsibly and following our Eco Guidelines during your stay. Natural Paradise Galapagos Cruise

Luxury

Finally got to complete our trip to the Galapagos Islands which was canceled days before we were to set off in March of 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. Finally, two years later we were ready to set off again and Galapatours were very helpful in working with us and our needs to rescheduling our cruise itinerary. All in all it was well worth the wait as we got to experience nature and the unique wildlife that you will never see anywhere else in the world. What a trip

The trip was fabulous. We were well cared for in every way and then more. The crew on board was friendly, helpful, thoughtful and always thinking about our needs. The boat was spotlessly clean both inside and on the decks. The food was amazing. The guide was amazing. My only problem was sometimes difficulty with his accent. We saw many beautiful animals, unusual plants and geological land formations. There didn’t seem to be a question the guide could not answer. The passengers connected well and helped each other if there was a need. I highly recommend this trip.

Unglaublich was er wusste.

This trip was out of this world extraordinary! My husband and I went on an 8 day cruise on Natural Paradise. We were the 3rd cruise. Yacht is shiny and new. Staff r all professional, smiley, accommodating and present everywhere. This trip was out of this world extraordinary! No regrets just bring Dramamine. I took a 1/2 a pill every night. Since it's not a ship, u will feel rocking a bit more on this boat. Feedback from: https://goo.gl/fXKm7k

The trip was excellent and very relaxing Did 8 day route A with my wife in January 2017. Loved the trip. Naturalist, Hernan, was great. Funny guy and very knowledgeable. All the staff/crew on the board were very nice and accommodating, especially Sebastian and Luis. They always had a smile on their face and happy to help you. The itinerary was a bit repetitive but I was already expecting this for the Galapagos. The company doesn't choose your itinerary - the national park does. It is a very protected park and you'll pretty much have the same itinerary with any cruise company in the Galapagos. It is mostly snorkelling and short walks around islands to view wildlife. You're not going to be doing any extreme activities and there is nothing strenuous about the walks or snorkeling. My wife doesn't know how to swim and was able to snorkel every day without a lifejacket during the trip. The wetsuits help you float and wtih the mask on, you don't really need to know how to swim. Doggy paddling can get you around. They will also be keeping a close eye on you from the two panga's and come help you if anything were to come up. We saw a ton of tropical fish, rays, starfish, reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, and a Galapagos penguin while we were snorkeling. Food was great. Always plentiful and a good variety. Nothing fancy but it was good. There were a couple nights where we had barbeques on the sun deck, and there was steak and shrimp. There was always snacks after returning from excursions. Coffee, different varieties of tea, and water was always available 24/7. Hot tub on the sun deck wasn't available 24/7 but was decent for the most part. The water doesn't really get hot enough but this was acceptable given the heat of the sun anyways. The rooms were cleaned and tidied up like several times/day. We had a balcony suite but didn't really end up using it much because we were outdoors so much already - and the sun deck is nice. Shower pressure was alright and there seemed to be enough hot water most of the time. At night, you can see a ton of stars so make sure to go on the sun deck at least one night. Our fellow travel shipmates were all great and that's also a very important factor of what will make the trip memorable. Of course this is just luck of the draw but we happened to be lucky. Overall, the trip was excellent and very relaxing. My wife & I are relatively active people and usually dont like cruises. We usually go backpacking and plan out our own itineraries but you can't really do that in the Galapagos. In my opinion, this cruise was a perfect combination of light activities, sightseeing/photography and relaxation. There's not going to be any adrenaline situations here but we still enjoyed it. Feel free to message me if you have any questions! Feedback from: https://goo.gl/12ciUJ

Origin & Theory Galapagos Cruise

Origin & Theory

- Two twin ships operating side by side - Sustainable luxury - Wonderful amenities The Origin and Theory are two of the newest boats in the Galápagos cruise fleet. Built in 2016 and 2017, they travel as twin ships - one next to the other. Both have been designed to be as environmentally conscious as possible, and were constructed using zero-emissions materials. The operators are no strangers to sustainability - they were the first to be awarded the flagship SmartVoyager environmental certification, which they have held since 2000. However, the Origin and Theory have no hint of the austerity sometimes associated with environmentally friendly vessels, and your amazing voyage of discovery around the Galápagos will also be one of luxury. Stunning accommodation There are ten luxury staterooms on each ship, and all feature large panoramic windows for unparalleled views. Sumptuous touches included the finest linens, memory foam and soft pillows to suit all tastes, and twin beds that easily convert to a single King bed. Measuring a generous 145 sq ft, each cabin on board the Origin and Theory Galápagos Cruise has individual climate control, and ample closet space, including a personal safe. The en-suite luxury bathrooms feature plush towels and bathrobes with slippers, and a delightful "rainfall" shower with its own ocean view! A hair dryer and luxury range of biodegradable cosmetics are also provided. Unique in the fleet, every stateroom on the Origin and Theory features an Apple TV with a pre-loaded movie selection, a universal docking station for your mobile devices, and a personal Espresso machine and tea kettle. Stunning amenities As befits a luxury experience, the public areas of the Origin and Theory are no less splendid. Unlike other vessels of this size, the Origin and Theory has its own dedicated fitness room with cardio equipment, weights and yoga mats. There are several areas perfect for lounging, with comfortable seats and cozy decor. There is a comfortable library filled with books about the Galápagos, and about Charles Darwin - whose work "On the Origin of Species" clearly inspired the vessels' names. Outdoor accommodation is wonderful, and includes a large sun deck with chaise lounges, daybeds, chairs and hammocks, a shower, wet bar, BBQ and tables for al fresco dining. The food is stunning, and consists of international cuisine as well as gourmet Ecuadorian and Peruvian specialties. The chefs are also pleased to give cooking demonstrations on any of their recipes! Complimentary house wines and beers are poured during dinner, and there is a generous open bar policy excluding premium brands. Origin and Theory have raised the bar for what "all-inclusive" means in a Galápagos cruise. Stunning wildlife itineraries The Origin and Theory operate two alternating 8 day/7 night itineraries together. These can be combined into one absolutely amazing 15 day trip with no repeated excursions - the ultimate exploration of the Galápagos. One itinerary features the southern and central islands, the other visits the northern and western islands. Each ship carries two highly qualified, bilingual naturalist guides each, meaning the 40 guests on board each ship are split into four groups à 10 passengers. This will let you enjoy much lower guest-to-guide ratio than almost every other boat in the fleet! As well as visits to the stunning islands and their unique habitats and wildlife, the guides will lead you in other activities including swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and stand up paddle-boarding - all included with your cruise. Our comment Stunning. We used that word a lot up there, but it's the only one we think justifies a Galápagos cruise on board the twin ships Origin and Theory. The ships are amazing, the crews go out of their way to ensure your happiness, the food is first class, and the encounters with Galápagos wildlife you will have will make memories that last a lifetime. For those who are conscious of their environmental impact, the Origin and Theory are among the greenest vessels in the Galápagos fleet, and yet they also among the most luxurious. Origin and Theory prove that sustainable tourism can still be luxurious.

Integrity Galapagos Cruise
Luxury

Integrity

\- Stunning luxury yacht \- Enormous suite available \- State-of-the-art stabilizers \- Choice of Western and Eastern itineraries The word “stunning” is used a lot to describe Galápagos cruise yachts, but in this case, we believe it’s entirely justified. This 141 ft long beauty is one of our favorites, and her owner Rolf is justifiably proud of her. He insists that everything is perfect for every guest, and his crew are among the highest-rated in the Galápagos fleet. **The height of grandeur** Built in 2005, Integrity was designed to offer best-in-class accommodation, and she certainly delivers. Her standout feature is the Owner’s Suite. This is a remarkable 350 square feet stateroom with king size bed that spans the entire width of the yacht. The room features a large sofa, comfortable chairs, satellite phone, fully stocked fridge, TV, and writing desk. The en suite bathroom features the finest porcelain fittings and a luxurious walk-in rainfall shower Her other staterooms may be a little smaller, but they are no less luxurious. All rooms on Integrity feature independent climate control, entertainment centers, luxury en suite bathrooms, satellite phones and stocked fridges. Several of her cabins can be configured as twin beds or as a king size, to your requirements. Communal areas are no less comfortable. The main saloon features luxury leathers and polished woods and has plenty of comfortable seats, sofas and tables, as well as a bar (one of two onboard) and library. There’s also a 50” TV and entertainment center. The adjoining formal dining room is laid out as tables of six. There’s also an alfresco dining area on the sun deck with barbecue grill Also on the upper sundeck is the outside bar, a jacuzzi pool, and plenty of comfortable loungers. There’s also a unique and intimate forward deck for guests called “Rolf’s Roost”, named after the owner. This has a comfortable sofa and offers an unparalleled view of your next visitor point as it comes into view. **A gourmet experience** Integrity has one of the largest galleys of any yacht of her size in the Galápagos. This allows her chefs to create absolutely delightful food. They only use the freshest ingredients, and they can cater for all dietary requirements. They pride themselves on producing fine dining-quality food that uses local produce and is healthy, as well as incredibly tasty. **Get closer to the wildlife of the Galápagos** Integrity’s operators have chosen only to offer a choice of two itineraries - but what itineraries they are! Both are 8-day trips, and both will cross the equator. You can choose from the western or eastern tours, but if you are able, we really recommend you combine them. This 15-day experience will be the trip of a lifetime, and it will showcase everything the Galápagos has to offer, all in superb comfort and luxury. Integrity only recruits the best naturalist guides, and their in-depth knowledge means you are assured of some really intimate animal encounters. With only 16 guests maximum, you will enjoy plenty of time with your guide and benefit from a very personal wildlife experience. **Our thoughts** We love Integrity. She is correctly named because everything she does is done with integrity. Her owner, Rolf, has a passion for excellence, and her crew are all well looked after and wholly dedicated to her success and to your comfort. The Owner’s Suite is one of the best accommodation in the whole Galápagos cruise fleet in our opinion - if you can, you should reserve it now if it’s still available. With a galley bigger than many other boat cabins, Integrity’s food is a definite highlight, and we love the attention to detail of her chefs. Both her itineraries are excellent, but if it fits your budget, seriously consider combining them - what a trip that makes. Call one of our Galápagos cruise experts now to see what’s available for you.

A well-stocked bar offers soft drinks, juices, beer, wine, premium spirits and cocktails. Complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water are available 24/7. **Soak up the sun** The beautiful sundeck offers plenty of shade for when the equatorial sun is too strong, as well as ample sunbathing areas for those who want to soak up the rays! There are two Jacuzzi pools, one covered and one in the sun, to suit all tastes. The whole area has been thoughtfully designed to provide a mix of social spaces and areas of privacy. **Our comments**. Sea Star Journey is one of our favourite yachts. A Sea Star cruise offers a superb mix of high-end luxury and a fantastic, friendly and welcoming ambience. The sundeck is amazing – one of the largest in this class of yacht. And it's incredible to have two pools – one for sun lovers and one for those who prefer the shade. **Owned by a local family** What makes this experience even more special is the Tipan Mora family, who have been deeply involved in the Galápagos since 1991. They are dedicated to providing travelers with the best experience possible while supporting conservation efforts. Two key family members, Williams and Mayra, serve as guides and are part of the operations team, providing a personal insight into the unique wonders of the Galápagos. Every guest on the Sea Star is treated like family, thanks to the Tipan Mora family's extensive experience in customer service and meticulous attention to detail. This ensures memorable experiences both on board and ashore, making your Galápagos adventure truly exceptional.
