Built in 2016, the Natural Paradise will delight you with her wonderful open communal areas, gorgeous sun deck, and light-filled rooms. Featuring every facility you can imagine, the Natural Paradise has also been fitted with stabilizers – this brings you one of the most comfortable cruising experiences in the Galápagos with even more stability than catamarans for your sailing comfort.

The decor throughout Natural Paradise is modern and crisp and yet warm and welcoming. Beautiful artwork throughout the boat reflects some of the natural wonders you’ll see on your adventure, and furnishings and fittings are of the highest quality and are immaculately presented.

A range of staterooms, junior suites and suites are available, giving you maximum choice. All feature en suite bathrooms with incredible showers and luxury L’Occitan cosmetics, hair dryers, and stunning sea views. For those who are looking for a little more luxury, two junior suites are available with California King beds and private balconies as well as splendid full suites with King beds, private terraces and over 355 ft. of private space.

With a maximum of 16 passengers on board and yet a crew of 10, Natural Paradise offers unrivalled levels of service. The food on our Galapágos Cruises is among the very best you will find in South America. Most of the on-board chefs are internationally trained and have prior experience working in the best hotels and restaurants in Ecuador and indeed around the world.

You can expect a first-class selection of food, including a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, locally sourced poultry and fish/seafood, rice and pasta dishes. Most boats will always include some typical Ecuadorian dishes on the menu during your cruise. If you have specific dietary requirements then these can usually be accommodated by the chef providing you have given advance notice. Please make sure you tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements you have at the time you book with us. If you leave it until you arrive at the dockside, then it may well be impossible to accommodate your needs.

Most boats serve a range of options at meal times in a relaxed buffet-style. At the first class and luxury end of the market, some boats have more formal dining where you will be served at your seat. However the atmosphere is always relaxed on board our cruises, and never stuffy or formal.

We love and respect the pristine ecosystems and fascinating wildlife of the Galápagos Islands. To protect the archipelago, all vessels in Galápagos must have sophisticated water filtration systems, modern, efficient engines, and strict maintenance schedules to minimize pollution. Fabulous trip in every regard. Varied itinerary, excellent logistics from our arrival in Guayaquil to our departure (use the free hotel shuttle; order ahead of time), and extremely engaged staff. Prompt and helpful responses in the planning phase; and an excellent guide and boat (Natural Paradise) personnel; and marvelous activities, with lots of snorkeling. The chef accommodated several special diets with delicious food.

The trip was fabulous. We were well cared for in every way and then more. The crew on board was friendly, helpful, thoughtful and always thinking about our needs. The boat was spotlessly clean both inside and on the decks. The food was amazing. The guide was amazing. My only problem was sometimes difficulty with his accent. We saw many beautiful animals, unusual plants and geological land formations. There didn’t seem to be a question the guide could not answer. The passengers connected well and helped each other if there was a need. I highly recommend this trip.

Once in a lifetime trip that exceeded expectations A fantastic trip where we swam with eagle rays, sharks, turtles and sea lions and saw penguins, friget mating rituals, flamingos and as many iguanas as you could hope to see up close and personal. We also walked to several breathtaking viewpoints of the various islands we visited. And the boat was fantastic - spotless, spacious and friendly with excellent food available. Stella Maris is best understood as a private-charter-style Galapagos yacht rather than a conventional cruise ship. Evolution is one of the ships we put on the shortlist for travellers who want classic yacht character without giving up the space and expedition setup of a 32-guest vessel. Teak tones, a handsome traditional profile and broad walkaround decks give her more soul than many newer catamarans, while the library, lounges, open-air bar and Jacuzzi provide several places to compare the day’s sightings. For us, her appeal lies in that balance: the ship feels sociable and full of character, yet the Galapagos remains the reason everyone is here. The route deserves as much attention as the ship. Evolution operates three different eight-day loops, which can also be combined into a 15-day journey. Depending on your departure, days may bring the seabird colonies reached via Prince Philip’s Steps on Genovesa, the volcanic west around Isabela and Fernandina, or southern sites such as Española, Floreana and Santa Fe. Walks, snorkelling, kayaking, panga rides and paddleboarding shape an active rhythm where scheduled and conditions allow. We particularly like Evolution for travellers who enjoy exchanging wildlife notes over dinner rather than disappearing into a very private resort-style ship. Cabin position matters here. The Master Suite and Suites on A Deck have ocean-view windows; Premium and Deluxe staterooms on the lower decks use portholes. None has a private balcony.
