Designed with the stability and comfort only catamarans can provide, Archipell II is one of the most popular boats in her class. As well as superior stability over single-hull boats, her clever layout allows for much more internal space, making this a relaxing and comfortable boat to spend time on board. She’s also one of the faster boats in the fleet, speeding you between the islands allowing you to spend more time with the amazing wildlife.
Comfort and Style Archipell II boasts 8 delightfully bright and welcoming double cabins finished with a gorgeous blue and white marine theme that complements the stunning views from the generous panoramic windows. All 8 cabins enjoy private en suite bathrooms with crisp, fresh interiors and hot and cold water. Every cabin is air conditioned for your comfort.
Communal spaces on board are made for relaxing, socializing and learning about the amazing wildlife you will be seeing from your bilingual naturalist guide. Contrasting wooden furniture and trims blend seamlessly with a modern neutral decor. Fantastic photographs from local wildlife photographers and beautiful splashes of colour throughout. The comfortable lounge includes a flatscreen TV with DVD and a guest library.
The dining area features a beautiful rectangular table for enjoying memorable meals in the company of your newly-made friends. Food on board is freshly prepared by our chefs and is varied and healthy, with local and international delicacies to suit every taste - and perhaps explore some new ones.
Outdoor spaces afford plenty of quiet spots to take in the wonders of the islands, or to sit and enjoy informal dining, or relax with a drink. For unrivalled vistas you can climb to the upper sun deck where traditional wooden loungers will let you relax in the shade of the deck canopy or out in the open, soaking up the warmth of the sun or gazing at the stars after dark. There’s also the opportunity to enjoy al fresco dining and enjoy a 360 degree view of the Islands as you enjoy your meal.
First class crew and guides The crew of Archipell II always go the extra mile to ensure your stay on board is a memorable one. With 10 crew for only 16 passengers there’s always someone close at hand for your every need, yet when you want peace and quiet you’ll be left alone to relax and enjoy the ambiance. With snorkelling equipment and kayaks on board, your bilingual naturalist guides will lead you on a variety of exciting excursions designed to show you the best of Islands.
Our comments Everyone loves the sundeck on the Archipell II. The traditional wooden loungers, the fantastic al fresco dining table, the wonderful semi-circular sofa - everything is designed for relaxed socializing and enjoyment. With wonderfully fresh cabins and indoor spaces, too, we think Archipell II is a superb value package that does everything well.

Sustainability on board the Anali
At Galapatours we love and respect the pristine ecosystems and fascinating wildlife of the Galápagos Islands, and we insist that our cruise partners do too. To protect the archipelago all our cruise vessels must have sophisticated water filtration systems, modern efficient engines, and strict maintenance schedules to minimize pollution.
The Galápagos National Park authority also defines exact cruising routes that dictate which ships can visit highlights at specific times, as well as limiting passenger numbers. These measures ensure that animals and habitats are not disturbed by too many visitors.
But at Galapatours we like to go even further. We voluntarily offset all the CO2 emissions of every cruise we sell - at no cost to you. And you can also play your part by traveling responsibly and following our Eco Guidelines during your stay. Click here to find out more about these guidelines, our commitment to sustainable tourism, and the Galápagos National Park rules.

Food & Drinks on board the Anali
The food on our Galapágos Cruises is among the very best you will find in South America. Most of the on-board chefs are internationally trained and have prior experience working in the best hotels and restaurants in Ecuador and indeed around the world.
You can expect a first-class selection of food, including a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, locally sourced poultry and fish/seafood, rice and pasta dishes. Most boats will always include some typical Ecuadorian dishes on the menu during your cruise. If you have specific dietary requirements then these can usually be accommodated by the chef providing you have given advance notice. Please make sure you tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements you have at the time you book with us. If you leave it until you arrive at the dockside, then it may well be impossible to accommodate your needs.
Most boats serve a range of options at meal times in a relaxed buffet-style. At the first class and luxury end of the market, some boats have more formal dining where you will be served at your seat. However the atmosphere is always relaxed on board our cruises, and never stuffy or formal.

Third time - amazing again! I used Galapatours for the third time to arrange a trip to the Galapagos with my parents. As always, the trip was amazing, Thomas was swift and responsive and sorted out our flights and the boat. All was fantastic. The Archipell II was great, our naturalist guide amazing, and the Galapagos is incredible with new experiences every time. Source: TripAdvisor

Great voyage Our family did a 8 day cruise on the Archipell II in March and we have nothing but good things to say about this boat. We saw no evidence of cockroaches and were very pleased with the boat and its accommodations. It is very comfortable and has a great partially covered over upper deck that was great to sit out on and still be protected from the sun. The crew were attentive and accommodating and the food was plentiful and good. From what we saw during our cruise I would have to say that the Archipell II looked like one of the best boats out there. I would highly recommend it!

Archipel II - Galapagos Cruise This was the most amazing trip we have ever taken, Although it is a "Barefoot Cruise" and nothing like an ordinary cruise. The crew on board Archipel II were very friendly and helpful. The guide Dario was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was very good. We were worked quite hard with 2 - 2hour hikes a day and 2 - 2hour sessions on a beach with swimming and snorkeling. What is amazing in Galapagos is that the birds and animals have no fear of man and you can be very close although you are asked to stay at least 2m away from them. When swimming the sea lions often join you. There are 12 islands although only 2 are inhabited. Several have species unique to that island like the giant tortoises. It was good that we usually sailed overnight to the next island. We booked our cruise at the last minute with Galacruises and saved 50% but even then it is an expensive trip by global comparison.

Archipell II - Galapagos cruise beyond expectation! We have just spend a 7 night/8 day cruise on Archipell 2 in March 2017 and loved every minute of it! When we did our research for booking a cruise, I felt we had sufficient information about the itineries, what to see, etc., but few recent reviews about the boat, the guides, and the booking process, so I will focus on the latter. The Archipell 2 is a very comfortable boat, and from the very first moment onboard, we appreciated the extremely caring crew. They prepared delicious and plentiful meals three times a day, tidied the rooms daily, took immediate care of any technical problems (the a/c stopped working a few times), and in general did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The boat has 2 double and 6 twin cabins, and there were 14 guests in total (maximum: 16). We slept well during overnight cruises in our stern cabin. (There was quite a bit of noise though, but that was largely caused by the power generator at the lower deck; so it was never really quiet during the night, even if anchored.) For the excursions, there are two dingies that transport the whole group ashore. The snorkeling gear was good and included in the price. The comfort of our room (including the bathroom) was beyond what we expected. For a boat, it was extremely spacious, had plenty of storage, and was perfectly tidy. Since I am pretty tall (1,98m), I was glad I could both sleep in the bed and stand upright in the shower without any problems. Plenty of towers were provided (and regularly changed) - different ones for use within the room and after the snorkeling. For our taste, our naturalist guide Giovanni Quintero was a personality with the perfect mix for this job: He is friendly, funny (but not silly), polite, speaks very good english, and has an in-depth knowledge of the geology and botany of the archipel, which he shares in enjoyable portions. His nightly briefings were very informative and supported by custom-tailored power point presentations. During the last night, we even got a professional review presentation of our trip (with pictures of every day), which he worked on every night and just gave to us! The whole trip was organized well and without any hassle. We would immediately choose the Archipell 2 again!!
