A Galápagos Cruise on board the Monique
What we love about the Monique
Newest Catamaran in Service Starting 2026
Purpose-built for Galápagos exploration
Modern catamaran stability and comfort
Spacious all-suite accommodations

Monique is set to become one of the most exciting new additions to the Galápagos fleet. Launching in March 2026, this purpose-built catamaran will combine state-of-the-art sustainability features with refined, contemporary design to offer an exceptional cruising experience in the Enchanted Islands.
Designed from the ground up for Galápagos exploration, Monique will welcome just 16 guests aboard, ensuring an intimate and exclusive journey. Her eight elegant suites and one single cabin will all feature floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and minimalist styling that maximizes space and light.
Guests will enjoy three expansive decks, thoughtfully designed for both comfort and immersion in nature. The Sky Deck will feature a whirlpool, outdoor lounge, and al fresco dining area, making it the perfect place to relax under the equatorial sun or dine beneath the stars. The Upper Deck will offer a shaded terrace and sun loungers, while the Main Deck will include a spacious indoor lounge, dining salon, and observation platform.
Sustainability will be at the heart of Monique’s design. She will be equipped with 20 solar panels and advanced lithium-battery systems, helping to minimize emissions, reduce engine noise, and lower her impact on the fragile island ecosystem — making her one of the most environmentally conscious yachts in the region.
Aboard every departure will be a highly experienced bilingual naturalist guide, leading daily excursions such as snorkeling, island walks, beach visits, and wildlife observation. Guests will have access to complimentary snorkeling gear and wetsuits, with all activities designed to bring them closer to the Galápagos’ unique landscapes and wildlife.
With her modern elegance, eco-friendly technology, and small guest capacity, Monique promises to set a new standard for luxury cruising in the Galápagos. For travelers seeking comfort, sustainability, and intimate discovery, she will be one of the top choices starting in 2026.

Food & Drinks on board the Monique
The food on our Galapágos Cruises is among the very best you will find in South America. Most of the on-board chefs are internationally trained and have prior experience working in the best hotels and restaurants in Ecuador and indeed around the world.
You can expect a first-class selection of food, including a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, locally sourced poultry and fish/seafood, rice and pasta dishes. Most boats will always include some typical Ecuadorian dishes on the menu during your cruise. If you have specific dietary requirements then these can usually be accommodated by the chef providing you have given advance notice. Please make sure you tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements you have at the time you book with us. If you leave it until you arrive at the dockside, then it may well be impossible to accommodate your
Sustainable Tourism
At Galapatours we love and respect the pristine ecosystems and fascinating wildlife of the Galápagos Islands, and we insist that our cruise partners do too. To protect the archipelago all our cruise vessels must have sophisticated water filtration systems, modern efficient engines, and strict maintenance schedules to minimize pollution. The Galápagos National Park authority also defines exact cruising routes that dictate which ships can visit highlights at specific times, as well as limiting passenger numbers. These measures ensure that animals and habitats are not disturbed by too many visitors.\n\nAt Galapatours, we prioritize the preservation of the Galápagos Islands' pristine ecosystems and remarkable wildlife. Our commitment extends beyond the mandatory environmental standards for cruise vessels in the region: A portion of your trip price now contributes to our Conservation Project. This initiative empowers local communities to protect their territory, engage in reforestation, and prepare for long-term environmental stewardship. This way, your trip contributes to environmental protection and truly shows how travel can be a force for good! And you can also play your part by traveling responsibly and following our Eco Guidelines during your stay.
