Grand Ocean Spray

Grand Ocean Spray is a new-generation Galapagos catamaran for travelers who want a small ship with a very contemporary feel. She is designed for just 16 guests, with suite-style accommodation, private balconies and a strong emphasis on light, space and calm service. The cabin promise is simple and attractive: panoramic openings, private outdoor space and flexible king or twin arrangements. The ship also includes a single cabin, which can be useful in a market where solo options are often limited or expensive. On deck, the jacuzzi, sky deck and open-air spaces give the journey a soft luxury rhythm between excursions. Choose Grand Ocean Spray if you want a modern catamaran with suite comfort and a polished look. Elite

We would put Elite high on the shortlist for couples, friends and solo travellers who want a genuinely small Galapagos expedition ship without giving up the light and space of a contemporary catamaran. With just 16 guests and eight Golden Suites, the atmosphere stays personal, while panoramic glazing, private balconies and broad shared areas make the ship feel far more open than its guest count suggests. The route matters just as much as the ship. Choose the west for Isabela and Fernandina's young volcanic landscapes, the north for Genovesa, Bartolomé and Santiago, or the south and east for Española, Floreana and Devil's Crown. Days are built around landings, guided walks and snorkelling, so what we like most about Elite is the contrast: active hours close to wildlife, followed by a bright lounge, generous decks or your own balcony. It feels refined, but the islands remain the reason for travelling. All eight suites sit on the main or upper deck and can be arranged with a king-size bed or twins. Their private bathrooms, large windows and balconies make Elite especially appealing if cabin comfort and natural light matter after a full day outside. Choose it for intimate luxury, contemporary design and varied route options. Consider another ship if budget is the priority, if you prefer classic-yacht character, or if several restaurants and large-ship entertainment are essential.
