Intrepid's two Galapagos yachts are different enough that a direct comparison is more useful than relying on a general 'luxury' label. Grand Queen Beatriz is the newer, more contemporary choice. It carries 16 guests, has outward-facing windows in every cabin, private balconies in selected categories and a jacuzzi on the sun deck. Grand Daphne also carries 16 guests but has a more traditional small-yacht design, generous shared outdoor space and cabin views that vary by deck, from lower-deck portholes to larger windows above.
