What we love about the Nemo III
The motor-sail catamaran design gives Nemo III a real yacht feeling.
A sundeck Jacuzzi is a welcome reset after snorkeling.
Kayak and snorkeling gear are included for active island days.

Nemo III is the most comfortable choice in the Nemo family for travelers who like the romance of a sailing catamaran but still want a proper Galapagos expedition rhythm. What we like is the balance: she feels more distinctive than a standard motor yacht, yet she still carries the practical comforts that matter after wet landings, snorkeling sessions and early-morning island walks.
The ship carries guests in air-conditioned cabins with private bathrooms, and the social life happens in the lounge, dining room, shaded deck areas and sundeck Jacuzzi. The front nets and open decks are part of the appeal: on quiet passages they make the islands feel very close. Kayak and snorkeling equipment are included, so the days are not limited to walking trails; you can also spend proper time at water level, where much of the Galapagos surprise happens.
Choose Nemo III if you want a characterful catamaran, active itineraries and a little more onboard comfort than the simplest classic yachts. She is not the best fit if you prefer hotel-style interiors, large bathrooms or the newest luxury catamaran finish. For travelers who like a sailing atmosphere and value the route more than polished design, Nemo III is a very appealing middle ground.

Meals on Nemo III are straightforward, generous and shaped around active Galápagos days rather than formal restaurant service. Full board is included, along with snacks, coffee, tea and water. The best moments are often the relaxed meals after snorkeling, when the small group is still comparing sea lions, reef fish and the day’s landing sites.
Nemo III’s lower-impact appeal begins with the kind of experience she offers: a small motor-sail catamaran, compact guest numbers and human-scale activities such as snorkeling and kayaking. Her best Galápagos value is simple and important: close guiding, disciplined visitor-site behavior and an active connection to the marine environment.
